Joe Theismann is not happy with ESPN’s Todd McShay over the draft analyst’s comments about the Washington Redskins coaching job. McShay was a guest on “The Dan Patrick Show” on Wednesday and had a harsh opinion of the Redskins. He said he would not advise a friend to take that head coaching job and said he would take 31 other NFL jobs before that one. The subject came up in the context of Urban Meyer attending a Redskins game last weekend. Theismann, who played 12 seasons with the Redskins and won a Super Bowl with Washington, defended his team. Theismann was on with Chad Dukes on 106.7 The Fan in D.C. and called McShay’s comments “irresponsible.” Theismann also said he would question McShay’s research into the matter. Washington has long been viewed as a bad job due to the perception that Dan Snyder is a meddling owner, not to mention one who can be a jerk.
