Marlon Humphrey fulfills 3-year goal of becoming an NFL Top 100 player

After three years in the NFL, the Ravens cornerback finds himself in the NFL Top 100

On April 27, 2017, the Baltimore Ravens picked CB Marlon Humphrey with their first-round pick. A month later, the cornerback tweeted he wanted to become an NFL Top 100 player.

Three seasons into his NFL career and at only 24-years-old, he can officially cross off his goal as he became No. 86 in the NFL Top 100 Players of 2020.

While many Ravens fans, and I even assume other fans disagree with the placement on the list, a Top 100 finish is exactly that. As such, congratulations to the First-Team All-Pro cornerback.

I highly recommend watching the video and ignore the ranking placement.

“Humphrey is an All-Pro not just because of his coverage, but because of his collisions as well.”

“He’s a cornerback with a linebacker’s mentality.”

While we may celebrate and argue about the ranking among his peers and position, Humphrey only commented that the goal “Took a few years lol.”
