Everyone’s favorite preseason wideout is on the active roster now.
Yesterday, the Los Angeles Rams tinkered a bit with the back end of their roster.
First, they waived QB Brandon Allen and dropped QB Luis Perez and TE Temarrick Hemingway from the practice squad. They also worked out three players in G Ian Silberman, OT David Steinmetz and OT Darrell Williams.
Then, they waived S Isaiah Johnson and added OT Darrell Williams, Jr. to fill one of those practice squad spots.
Today, we got our answer on the open spot on the 53-man roster as well as the other practice squad spot though now there’s one more to fill...
WR KhaDarel Hodge, promoted
As suspected from his tweet yesterday, the preseason standout is joining the active 53-man roster.
RG Jamon Brown, activated
This move fills out the 53-man roster as it stands.
DE Marcus Martin, signed
Martin was a late addition in August, but was cut in the 90-man to 53-man roster transition. He’ll fill one practice squad spot, but Hodge’s promotion creates another.
