It seems Jalen Ramsey respects Dak Prescott.
Leading up to their game in Kansas City last week the Jacksonville Jaguars saw their star cornerback Jalen Ramsey get into war of words of sorts with Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Kansas City won the game, although Ramsey hardly played poorly. He’s one of the NFL’s better defensive backs already and he’s only in his third season.
As it is his third season you’ll remember that Ramsey is a product of the 2016 Draft as its fifth-overall selection. The Dallas Cowboys took Ezekiel Elliott one pick before and would land Dak Prescott three and a half rounds later. Sunday marks the first meeting among the draft classmates.
Ramsey is already on record with an opinion on Dak Prescott. Back in August his thoughts on many players across the league became known and he went as far as calling Dak good, although he did note that the Cowboys are built around Ezekiel Elliott.
Dak Prescott, he’s good. He’s alright. He’s okay. I’ll put it that way. [Ezekiel Elliott] runs that team though. Everything runs around Zeke.
Many have been wondering if Ramsey would do a bit of trash talking ahead of visiting the Cowboys this Sunday. He’s known for it after all. He spoke to the media on Thursday and had every opportunity to take a shot when asked about Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
Prescott has been struggling quite a bit through five games this season, but Ramsey was complimentary. He said Dak Prescott can make/extend plays and that he is capable of doing things that help the Cowboys offense.
Jalen Ramsey was asked if he thought Dak Prescott was similar to Marcus Mariota. He said he wouldn’t compare the two. He also said he thinks Dak can make plays, extend plays, and do things that help the Cowboys offense. pic.twitter.com/UeNbbCS1aV

Perhaps Ramsey is feeling a bit more joyful today than other days as he spoke in only a complimentary way of Dak. He would also go on to say that he believes Zeke is an all-around running back and one of the best in the NFL.
