The Jacksonville Jaguars’ decision to sign street free agent Jamaal Charles on Tuesday might have been a harbinger of things to come for starting running back Leonard Fournette. Having already missed three games to a hamstring injury this season, Fournette has been ruled out for the Jaguars’ Week 6 outing against the Dallas Cowboys this coming Sunday. It now looks like the second-year back will actually be sidelined much longer than originally anticipated. According to this report from Florida Football Insiders, the Jaguars are considering sitting Fournette through their Week 9 bye. This means that his next action could be against the Indianapolis Colts on November 11th. The Jaguars’ thinking is that they don’t want to throw Fournette out there as the team travels to London for a Week 8 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
