Michael Dickson, one of the top athletes in human history, is now the top vote-getter for all punters in the National Football Conference. The NFL released their first wave of Pro Bowl voting results on Wednesday, looking at the top-10 players for each position, and so far we know that Dickson is one player on the Seattle Seahawks who has an early lead to represent the conference in January.
This according to Peter Mitchell, Australian AP US correspondent:

The photograph of a computer screen shows that Britton Colquitt of the Cleveland Browns is the overall leader, while Dickson comes in at number two and first in the NFC. He’s followed in the conference voting by division-mate Johnny Hekker of the LA Rams, the most accomplished punter in the league today. However, since the Rams rarely punt anymore, Hekker’s overall usage is way down and he’s going to finish the year with easily less than half the number of punts he had at the height of the Jeff Fisher era.
Jordan Berry of the Pittsburgh Steelers ranks third overall, Thomas Morstead of the New Orleans Saints rounds out the top five.
Dickson only started focusing his athletic career on punting in 2015, landed a job with the University of Texas, and quickly became the top punter in college football. He’s consistently booming punts for Seattle deep, angling them out of bounds, landing them inside the opponents’ 20, avoiding touchbacks, and even landing some dropkick kickoffs to reaffirm to fans and writers that he’s one of the most special and unique special teamers in the league.
He’s 22-years-old and has not even punted for half-a-decade.
This more than confirms that the Seahawks did a good thing by trading up in the fifth round for Dickson, the greatest football player we’ve ever seen.
