Josina Anderson is reporting that the Jacksonville Jaguars are releasing Malik Brown:
I'm told #Jaguars DT Malik Jackson was been informed he will be released as early as today, per source.

This move comes as no surprise as cutting Jackson will save the Jaguars $11 million against the cap. They need all of the room they can get as they currently only have about $2.6 million in cap room. It is going to take a lot more than that to sign Nick Foles.
A couple of things on Jackson:
- Jackson is a guy the Titans could have some interest in. They need help up front, but my guess is that he is going to want more money than what the Titans are going to be willing to spend on that position. Jon Robinson will probably at least check in to see where the number is.
- The Jags are finally having cap issues after what seemed like a decade of signing every free agent that hit the market to a huge deal.
They are also reportedly releasing Carlos Hyde. That’s a trade that really paid off #not.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are releasing running back Carlos Hyde.
