Dianna Russini is reporting that the Titans are out of the Antonio Brown sweepstakes. This really shouldn’t come as a surprise after the report yesterday that the Titans were just monitoring the developments.
I know this is going to cause a meltdown of epic proportions from some people in the Titans fanbase. However, my recommendation would be to wait until you see what the compensation for Brown is before you declare Jon Robinson the worst general manager in the history of the world. If the team that got him only gave up a day 2 pick, I will understand if you want to fire away with the mean Tweets.
BUT if the price ends up being a first round pick (or even more), I really think Robinson did the right thing here. Brown is a big problem in the locker room, he bailed on his team in the midst of a playoff run last year, and he will be 31. His best years are behind him.
