While some people question the New York Giants trading away No. 1 wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., former All-Pro running back Tiki Barber supports that decision. Barber recently weighed in on the blockbuster trade that went down in March: “I think Odell wanted to go and [general manager] Dave Gettleman and the New York Giants acquiesced,” Barber said, per Zach Braziller of the New York Post.” “He’s in a better place. And I think it may actually be OK for the Giants he’s not here.” Barber further elaborated: “He wasn’t reaching his potential. He felt like he was being constrained, either by the offensive play-calling or whatever it may have been. He wasn’t happy.” What Barber said makes sense. OBJ did not seem like a happy camper during the latter part of his Giants tenure. He often acted out his frustrations on the sidelines and even got into that infamous fight with a kicking net.
