There were not many under the radar moves the Denver Broncos made this offseason, but drafting Justin Hollins is probably a good one.
The Denver Broncos have had a busy offseason. Since hiring a new coaching staff, they made a trade for quarterback Joe Flacco, went big in free agency bringing in three starters, and had themselves a fairly impressive 2019 NFL Draft.
That would make finding an underrated move rather difficult, but SB Nation found one move that would fit the bill. In the fifth round of the NFL Draft, the Broncos selected linebacker Justin Hollins out of Oregon.

General manager John Elway was more into big splashes this offseason, so there weren’t many small moves in Denver. But hey, the whole Drew Lock situation worked out pretty well!
During the Something Something Broncos podcast a week or so ago, we were able to chat with Addicted to Quack blogger, Joseph Yun, about Hollins he confirmed that the Broncos got a good one. Hollins will need some development, but has the work ethic and drive to be a gamer in the NFL.
Broncos defensive coordinator, Ed Donatell, was ‘tickled’ by the picks of Ohio State defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones and the aforementioned Hollins.
“As a defensive staff, I know we’re really tickled [about] the players our scouting staff could find for us in the late third round and the fifth round,” Donatell said during rookie minicamp. “That was a great find of two guys that can help the needs of our defense.”
Of Hollins specifically, Donatell went on to say that the rookie is doing well picking things up and is excited to see how he’ll grow as a player.
