Day 3 of Seattle Seahawks 2019 training camp is all done, as we are t-minus six weeks until the team gets its regular season campaign started against the Cincinnati Bengals. In fact, with the NFL Hall of Fame Game this Thursday, this is the last week without an NFL preseason, regular season, All-Star, or postseason game until February 8th. We’re almost there!
We had plenty of highlights in Sunday’s session, including a fantastic diving interception by rookie LB Cody Barton on a Geno Smith pass intended for Jacob Hollister. It had Pete Carroll singing his praises. We also saw some DB drills that included a one-handed grab by DeShawn Shead, back on the roster as of Saturday. Russell Wilson slung the pigskin out to Ed Dickson a few times, and he threw a touchdown to JD McKissic, who beat Barton on a play that was basically similar to the TD he scored in the playoff loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
