Breaking down the film of the Bears’ offensive disaster

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears Quinn Harris-USA TODAY Sports

To the surprise of many Bears fans, Matt Nagy’s “202” offense debuted to a disappointing 3 points in the team’s loss to the Packers last Thursday. But why? Robert S. investigates in his latest video breakdown.

Bears fans, let’s be honest — last week’s offensive performance was about as disappointing as it could’ve possibly been. Not only did the Bears lose to the rival Green Bay Packers, but they only managed to score 3 offensive points in the process.

Yep. Just 3 points.

This, of course, sent the Bears’ fanbase into a tizzy as they attempted to determine who was at fault for the offense’s struggles — was quarterback Mitchell Trubisky to blame? Did coach and playcaller Matt Nagy do enough to help him? Could anyone have succeeded behind that offensive line?

In my latest video, I dove deep into the film of a game that I never want to watch again to determine exactly what went wrong for the Bears in their season opener. I discuss...

  • Mitchell Trubisky’s overall play — what did he do wrong?
  • The negative effects of Matt Nagy’s unique personnel packages
  • The various ways the offensive line made the game harder for everyone
  • The major success these failures overshadowed
  • And much much more...

Check it out below and let me know what you think!

What do you think? Who was at fault for Thursday Night’s disaster?
