The Atlanta Falcons, fresh off getting absolutely destroyed by the Minnesota Vikings, welcome the Philadelphia Eagles to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for Sunday Night Football. The Eagles’ week 1 game did not go entirely to plan either as they allowed the lowly Washington Redskins to jump out to an early lead, but they were able to right the ship and Carson Wentz led a successful comeback.
It will be interesting to see if Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and the rest of the Falcons offense can bounce back from the thrashing they took last week at the hands of the Vikings because they still look on paper to be an exciting offense.
Philadelphia is clearly the more talented team (very few teams in the NFL can compare to their depth up and down the roster), but the Falcons will have home field advantage and that still matters. The Eagles are 1-point favorites and this game has an over/under of 52.5, so this one sets up as a very exciting game to cap off an NFL Sunday.
