Since 2008, ESPN’s Football Power Index has assigned a matchup quality score for every game each week in advance of it on a 0-100 scale.
— Field Yates (@FieldYates) October 11, 2019
The Redskins-Dolphins game on Sunday has registered the lowest score ever: 0.0.
I’ll match it too, but I’m not as liquid as NFL players, so I’ll pledge $100 for every sack any Redskins player makes during the Redskins v. Dolphins game https://t.co/w2foHG3ljD

Redskins interim coach tells reporters Case Keenum starts Sunday at Miami but won't commit to a QB plan beyond that. Haskins no. 2 this week.
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) October 11, 2019
Sounds like Scherff and Roullier expected back in the lineup after past two games.
“I think the NFL is a week-to-week thing...”. - Bill Callahan on if he plans to stick with Case Keenum for a while here at QB. #Redskins
— Brian McNally (@bmcnally14) October 11, 2019
Callahan says Keenum earned that and is the captain of the team. Haskins being the backup comes down to him being one snap away and preparing as such. Want him to be ready and that role keeps him sharper throughout the week.

The Haskins critique from @mlombardiNFL is starting to border on inappropriate. Slow down there, tough guy. The org is indeed awful, but what you’re spreading about the kid sounds more about proving your disdain. Even if you did find a squeaky wheel on outgoing staff.

FOR THE FULL STORY: https://t.co/ImwXwiVUji pic.twitter.com/uOuZcJvIDt
#NFL officials have gone rogue. 100-percent. This wasn’t called on the field and then wasn’t changed after it was flagged by the #Giants. So they ruled TWICE that this wasn’t defensive pass interference. Which is just blatantly wrong and a purposeful refusal to change the call. pic.twitter.com/BY2rRE6gQc
— Charles Robinson (@CharlesRobinson) October 11, 2019
We have definitively learned what the "unintended consequences" of the NFL allowing replay review on pass interference: it's never overturned. Thus, when it is scrapped after this season, if not sooner, we will be happy it was.
— Andrew Brandt (@AndrewBrandt) October 11, 2019
Not taking a side in the replay debate. Just pointing out the coaches and many others don't like how the replay-for-interference system is operating but NFL leaders are okay with it, saying it's been imperfect but they always knew making a judgment call would be imperfect.
— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) October 11, 2019
Through the Week 5 games, there were 39 interference-related replay reviews (33 challenges, six booth reviews) and seven reversals. That's 18 percent. So the standard is high. But to say the new rule has been completely discarded is overstating the case a bit.
— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) October 11, 2019
What the evidence shows is that there's no reason to challenge an on-field call of pass interference. That's virtually certain not to be reversed. There is a slightly better chance when challenging an interference non-call on the field.

ESPN reported after halftime that Hall was on crutches outside the locker room and was wearing a cast on his left leg: https://t.co/Mx8zjA2pyS
— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) October 12, 2019
There are four left standing. Twenty-six teams, including the 97-win Braves they chased all season and the Goliathan 106-win Dodgers, are watching from home. The Nationals are here, still in the fight, in need of just four... more... excruciating... wins for a World Series berth.
— Chris Lingebach (@ChrisLingebach) October 12, 2019
No hangover at all. That’s wild. #Nats take early control of the series thanks to...Anibal Sanchez. That has to make you a little nervous if you’re Cardinals. Scherzer/Strasburg up next.
— Brian McNally (@bmcnally14) October 12, 2019
The Nats just took Game 1 of the NLCS on the road. They did it without Daniel Hudson, Kurt Suzuki and Victor Robles.
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) October 12, 2019
4th SP Anibal Sanchez delivered the best start in #Nats playoff history. 7.2 inning gem that will be talked about for years.
This was the Anibal game.
This is EXTREMELY jinxy, sorry, but you've been thinking about it anyhow, so here's @ScottSAllen on the comparisons between these Nats and those Caps. https://t.co/iMWR76uxNT
