Jedd Fisch, 43, spent the past two seasons on Sean McVay’s Rams staff.
The New England Patriots’ 2020 coaching staff will include a recent Los Angeles Ram.
Jedd Fisch is joining New England’s offensive side, the Boston Globe’s Jim McBride reported Friday evening, in a role that has yet to be finalized.
Fisch served as the Rams’ assistant offensive coordinator in 2019. The 43-year-old had worked under the title of senior offensive assistant for head coach Sean McVay the season prior when Los Angeles and New England crossed paths in Super Bowl LIII.
Dating back to 2002, Fisch’s NFL background features stops as offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars, quarterbacks coach for the Seattle Seahawks, wide receivers coach for the Denver Broncos, offensive assistant for the Baltimore Ravens and defensive quality control for the Houston Texans.
Fisch has also made collegiate stops at UCLA, Michigan, Miami and Minnesota since spending two seasons under Steve Spurrier as a graduate assistant at Florida.
The Patriots officially stand with vacancies at wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator after Joe Judge departed to become head coach of the New York Giants in early January. Bret Bielema, New England’s defensive line coach this past season, made his way to East Rutherford this past week.
