More bodies for the offensive line battle

We’re getting closer to the Minnesota Vikings having all of their draft picks signed, as another member of the 15-player class has agreed to the terms of his rookie deal.

Oregon State offensive lineman Blake Brandel, one of the Vikings’ two sixth-round picks in April, has come to terms with Minnesota. His deal is a four-year contract worth $3.46 million and a signing bonus of just under $165,000.

Brandel started 48 consecutive games for the Beavers over the course of his career, which is pretty darn impressive. He will fit into the mix at tackle during Training Camp, but has his work cut out for him if he’s going to make the final roster.

With Brandl agreeing to terms, the Vikings have not gotten 60% of their draft class completed. They still need to sign the following players before rookies are required to report for camp on Thursday morning:

There’s no reason that all of those signings shouldn’t happen before tomorrow morning. As we get news of the signings and the terms of their contracts, we will bring them to you here.
