Thorsday Open Thread

Good Morning, It’s Thorsday

Your Thorsday Open Thread is up, running, and ready for business. I know I was a little displeased with last week’s result and had a minor meltdown over it; I mean come on, who would have thought the Jacksonville Jaguars would beat the Indianapolis Colts? Not me so I’m out of the official Daily Norseman Survival League Week one...RIP GhostofSloter. I’m back on service for the next seven days, so I’ll drop by and comment when I have time. For those of you wondering, I have sent another email to the Coral developers addressing the deficiencies; Brad and I are working on a joint email. We don’t know if it will lead to any meaningful changes, but for now that’s what we can do. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Thorsday - I was informed this is cultural appropriation, but I’m not smart and still don’t know what that means.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, wear a mask, don’t be a jerk and Welcome Aboard!
