The Death Star is open for business.
Tonight is the opening of a new stadium in Las Vegas.
In all fairness, it’s a pretty cool stadium, but definitely not as cool as SoFi Stadium. In fact, SoFi Stadium makes the Raiders’ new stadium look like an on-fire garbage can.
Okay, that may be a bit harsh, but there’s nothing wrong with having a bit of friendly trash talk with a divisional rival.
Drew Brees will be without his favorite weapon in wide receiver Michael Thomas but he’ll still have a strong cast of players around him against a middling Las Vegas Raiders defense.
Derek Carr has the pleasure of handing it off to bruising back Josh Jacobs over and over again.
It’s going to be an exciting matchup in a shiny new stadium which is never a bad watch.
