Week 1 of Sunday Night Football features two NFC playoff hopefuls in the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams.
Sunday Night Football kicks off the 2020 regular season with the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Los Angeles Rams in southern California. The offseason hype around the Cowboys is a thing and the Rams have fallen a bit since their Super Bowl appearance a few years ago.
In 2019, the Cowboys finished 8-8, but dropped five of their final eight games. The Rams were not much better off finishing 9-7 and were 4-4 down the stretch. Both teams will be looking to take that next step back towards a playoff appearance. The NFC is a tough conference, so every win will matter for these teams come late December.
