Browns fans are literally everywhere and in lots of countries. Browns Backers Worldwide provides an organized avenue for fans to get together and root on their team. Each chapter has a President who run their local chapter and keep up with members. It’s not an easy job.
Each week, DBN invites five Browns Backers chapter Presidents to provide their insight with the outcome of Cleveland’s next opponent. Click the below link to find out where your nearest chapter is, or how to start your own in your local area:
BROWNS BACKERS WORLDWIDE CHAPTER INFO
The chapter located in Washington, D.C. has some halftime traditions. They have a game of trivia, and the winners get to pick a prize which are different each week but usually include can koozies, Stadium Mustard, gift cards, lanyards, and Bertman’s Mustard, among others. As the top winner is deciding which prize to take, the entire chapter yells out, “Take the mustard!”

Week 2 Prediction: “With only four days off between Week 1 against the Ravens and Week 2 against the Bengals, the Browns finally get a break with 10 days to prepare for the Washington Football Team. The WFT seems to be in a rebuild mode behind QB Dwayne Haskins and coach Ron Rivera. The Browns look to put a lack luster 2019 season behind them with with their rookie head coach Kevin Stefanski. They enter the 2020 season with a fresh playbook, a lot of weapons and an improved offensive line. The defense looks to be disruptive with a pass rush led by Myles Garrett and Olivier Vernon. If the Browns can avoid injury and commit to another new system, they have the talent to have a promising 2020 season. Browns win 24 -17.”

Week 2 prediction: “This is the revenge of the phantom fumble match. The Browns struggle in the first half on the road in Washington and go down 7-0 on a bomb to Terry McLaurin. Unlike previous regimes, the Browns stick to the running game and come roaring back on the legs of Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb with three second half TD’s.” Browns 24, Football Team 10.

Week 2 prediction: “This an interesting game, especially living in die-hard Washington territory. Looking at and comparing the two rosters, the behind the scenes happenings of the WFT, and the home field advantage (and yes, there is despite COVID-19 requirements), I have to predict that the Browns will win 24 - 14. Washington has Alex Smith at QB (hasn’t played for almost two seasons), just dumped star RB Adrian Peterson (13 seasons) and some other very good players, but don’t compare even across the board against Mayfield and Chubb. Plus, we have a number of potential Hall of Famers on the offensive side. Our defense is hands down better then theirs and continues to gets better.”

Week 2 Prediction: “In this Week 3 away game, the Browns face the Washington Football Team. Since 1991, the Browns are 1-4 against Washington. That lone victory took place in Cleveland in 2004 and the score was 17-13. Will the losing trend continue? I don’t think so. The Browns running attack will open up the passing game and they will squeak by Washington 20-17.”
