Two teams separated by a five-hour drive up I-95 face off tonight.
One week after an exciting intra-state game on Thursday Night Football, NFL fans get another in-state matchup to kick off week two. This week’s game is not a divisional game, however, as two AFC teams from the East and South divisions clash.
Miami and Jacksonville are about a five-hour drive apart on Interstate 95, and tonight the two teams will face off. Will Minshew Mania and the mustache trend continue running wild on the NFL, or will Ryan Fitzpatrick and his enormous beard emerge victorious?
Whichever hirsute quarterback comes out on top will surely have some words for the other, as the friendly rivalry began earlier this week:
Gardner Minshew when asked to defend mustaches after Ryan Fitzpatrick proclaimed beards to be cooler: "I'll let mine speak for itself... but I'm gonna have respect for my elders. Especially when they're much, much elder."
