Bengals DT Ryan Glasgow gets carted off field with apparent knee injury

Ryan Glasgow may have suffered a major injury late in the Bengals’ game against the Panthers.

The Bengals have suffered a flurry of injuries against the Panthers. Most recently defensive tackle Ryan Glasgow was carted off the field in the fourth quarter. He appeared to get his knee caught in the turf as he was being blocked to the ground. He instantly was rolling around in pain and tossed his helmet to the side.

There was an extended time stop as trainers decided to cart Glasgow off the field, which is never a great sign. Glasgow didn’t agree with needing to be carted off, but he ultimately complied. The Bengals defensive depth will really be tested now as fellow defensive linemen Carl Lawson and Andrew Billings were dinged up today as well. Cincinnati was also without Michael Johnson to start the day as he recovers from an MCL sprain. The Bengals will likely use Jordan Willis and Sam Hubbard more inside at defensive tackle than they would like.

A.J. Green is still sidelined with a groin injury. But Andy Dalton made history today regardless.

Glasgow was carted off of the field, but in a bit of good news he was able to get off the cart and walk into the locker room under his own power.

We will update this story as details come in.
