This was an all-time move.
The Dallas Cowboys did not have a good outing during their third game of the season in Seattle.
An interesting wrinkle to a game that the Cowboys barely showed up for was someone that showed up for the other team, Earl Thomas for the Seattle Seahawks. Many believed that Thomas would be playing for the visitors over the course of the offseason, but a stalemate with the Seattle front office led him to playing for the team he’s always played with.
Thomas made it apparent why the Cowboys tried to hard to acquire him themselves. He had two interceptions on the day, and the second one all but officially ended the game. Both interceptions came off of tipped passes, but it’s that never-give-up mentality that makes Thomas such a great player.
What made matters all the more interesting was when Thomas got up off of the ground after his second pick. He trotted over towards Jason Garrett, something he infamously did on Christmas Eve, and literally took a bow towards the Cowboys sideline.

Thomas is a very calculated player who doesn’t do things by accident. His public flirtation with the Cowboys was well-chronicled, and perhaps his bowing was a sign of “this is what you can have playing for you.”
What do you think Jason Garrett and Co. thought about it?
