Let’s take a look at four potential returners for the Rams to pick up for Week 4.
The Los Angeles Rams exit week three unbeaten though the game took its toll by way of injury.
KR/PR JoJo Natson was diagnosed with a broken hand, so he’s going to miss an extended period of time.
Just as the Rams seemed to have found a productive and reliable returner to replace injured Pro Bowl returner Pharoh Cooper with backup returner Mike Thomas out, now they’ll have to find a replacement for Natson.
The best options available on the free agent market are:
WR Eric Weems
10.8 yards per punt return / 24.1 yards per kick return
WR Brandon Tate
9.5 yards per punt return / 23.8 yards per kick return
RB Kenjon Barner
8.6 yards per punt return / 22.6 yards per kick return
RB Jordan Todman
26.4 yards per kick return
Weems and Tate are the veteran options, with Todman and Barner both having experience returning kicks too (Todman has not returned punts). The top options available in order for me would probably go: Barner, Weems, Tate, Todman.
Stay tuned for whatever move the Rams decide to make.
