Can the Bills make it two in a row in the NFC North?
The Buffalo Bills have their second straight game against the NFC North this Sunday when they face off against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The Bills are looking to ride the high from their improbable win over the Minnesota Vikings while the Packers are looking to get back on track after a disappointing loss to the Washington Redskins. Here are three things to look for on Sunday on the hopefully not-yet-frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.
Stopping Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers is arguably the most talented quarterback to ever play the position. However, he’s been playing on a hurt knee since late in his Week one comeback win over the Chicago Bears. Even with that, he’s thrown for over 250 yards in each game following. Sean McDermott and Leslie Frazier will have their hands full stopping such a dynamic player.
Can the offense continue to roll?
The offense struggled through two games and then exploded with a stellar performance against a top-ten defense. They’ll now get a chance to continue that roll against a bottom-ten defense. Josh Allen has improved steadily from week to week. He’ll have to step it up again to keep pace with his counterpart on the Packers.
Wide receivers still need to improve
Josh Allen’s stats from Sunday look great, but they could have been even greater with some help from his receivers. Multiple drops took yards from Allen and points from the Bills. The offense needs Kelvin Benjamin, Robert Foster, Andre Holmes, Zay Jones, and the rest of the receiving corp to elevate their game in order to turn their first win into a win streak.
