New England is back in the game.
The New England Patriots looked terrible during the first half of their week three game against the Detroit Lions. Down 13-3 after two quarters, however, the team was able to finally get some momentum and get itself back into the game thanks to an interception by Ja’Whaun Bentley and a touchdown pass from Tom Brady to James White.
Detroit received the opening kickoff of the second half and after the defense failed to make any big plays through the first two quarters, Bentley registered the game’s first turnover:

New England’s linebackers struggled in coverage through the first two quarters of the game, but Bentley was sticking closely to tight end Luke Willson on the interception. The play gave the Patriots solid field position and set up this 11-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady to James White:

White has had a quiet night so far but was able to get free into the end zone. Brady found him and delivered a perfect throw for six points.
