The Jaguars’ trip overseas to their “home away from home” this weekend has reportedly led to several players landing in trouble with the law. The UK’s The Sun reports that four Jaguars players were arrested overnight. This followed an altercation involving the staff of a local nightclub over an alleged unpaid tab.
According to the report, the four players involved attempted to leave the London Reign Showclub without paying their bill, and were stopped by club security. That led to a physical altercation of some sort. The bill totaled roughly $64,000 U.S. dollars.
Following the altercation, the players were arrested by local police and were later released after being held for nine hours and settling the tab with the establishment, per the report.
Though there are numerous rumors as to the identity of the four players involved, nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
We will update this story with additional information and the names of the players as they are officially confirmed, as well as any potential impact to the players’ game status.
