The star receiver has asked the Buccaneers for a trade ahead of the deadline
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Buccaneers receiver DeSean Jackson has asked to be traded by Tuesday's deadline.

The connection between DJax and Jameis Winston hasn't been there since Jackson arrived in 2017 and it seems as though the frustration has reached its peak. Though Rapoport's sources say it's nothing personal with Jackson and Winston, Jackson may feel irrelevant in the offense with Winston at the helm - especially after being the NFL's leading receiver with Fitzpatrick at quarterback.
It seems unlikely the Bucs want to move on from Jackson or that they'll move him by Tuesday, but all signs point to Jackson's tenure as a Buc is reaching the end.
