Jaguars are 3-point underdogs headed to Kansas City

The Jacksonville Jaguars head to the Mid-West on Sunday to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead, one of the toughest places in the NFL to play. The Jaguars opened up as three-point underdogs, which to be honest is a smaller line than I expected it would be.

You have the NFL’s number one overall defense, the best against the pass, heading into whats been a buzzsaw of an offense led by first-year starter Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs have the most explosive offense in the NFL, have speed at every position and Mahomes can seemingly throw the ball on a rope 80 yards with just a flick of his wrist and on the run.

It’s a classic battle of the best defense versus the best offense, so it should be fun to watch. I think the big key will actually be the Jaguars offense. It’s been up and down the first four weeks of the season and will once again be without running back Leonard Fournette, but are coming off one of Bortles best days as a pro against the New York Jets.

I think the Denver Broncos showed you can slow down the Chiefs and get to Mahomes with your front four on Monday Night Football, now it’s just a matter of what they can limit the Chiefs offense to and how much the Jaguars offense can score.
