There have been no concrete hints that Jerry Jones is considering firing Jason Garrett. But apparently that does not mean the Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager is inclined to give his longtime head coach a contract extension anytime soon. The Dallas Morning News reports that Jeff Sullivan, who writes for the Cowboys’ official site, tweeted Monday that an extension for Garrett could be in the offing and that the seemingly embattled coach is “not going anywhere.” During an appearance Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM], Jones took issue with Sullivan’s observation. “I don’t know where Jeff is getting his information,” Jones said . “He’s pulling one out of the air there as far as any knowledge. My response should not in any way indicate that I’m thinking about it or whether it’s going to be there, it’s just not something that I would have visited with anybody about, least of all Jeff. “I happen to know that I’ve never spoken to another soul about that as far as that is concerned.” Garrett’s name almost al
