A collection of meaningless stats about the Lions vs Dolphins history
We’ve been waiting for years. It’s finally time. It’s finally time for the Lions to get their revenge on Ndamukong Suh. He left the Lions to go play for a winning organization and looked so happy doing it.
Look how happy everyone is while Ndamukong Suh signs his contract with the Dolphins --> http://t.co/D6D4HBbyA5 #NFL pic.twitter.com/GXkQuPRwpZ

I can’t wait to see that smile wiped off is face when the Lions destroy the Dolphins on Sunday.
Update: I’ve just been informed that Ndamukong Suh no longer plays for the Dolphins and that I apparently knew that he wouldn’t play in this game way back in 2015.
Mark it down, write it down, memorize it. Lions play Dolphins in 2018. Suh will not be on either team. #bold

If there’s a Lions writer that likes to toot his own horn more than me, I haven’t met him/her yet. To the Random Stats!
When are you gonna come down?
When are you going to land?
I should have stayed on the farm.
I should have listened to my old man.
That’s Elton John singing his 1973 hit Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. You can hear that and all your favorites on Time Life’s “Sounds of the Year the Lions Played the Dolphins for the First Time” box set.
You’ll hear other great songs like “The Lions Lost to the Dolphins 34-7 in their First Meeting” by The Carpenters or “The Lions are 4-7 All-Time Against the Dolphins” by The Steve Miller Band.
You’ll always remember where you were when the Lions won in Miami for the first time in 2010 and you’ll remember grooving with your significant other when Calvin Johnson returned from an injury to put a hurting on the Dolphins secondary the last time they played in 2014. Yet another win. The hits just keep on coming.
If you’d like know more about Time Life’s Lions vs Dolphins 19 CD box set, call 1-800-Brock- Osweiler- Scares-Me-For-Some-Reason. Thanks for joining us for this weeks Random Stats. I’m Aaron Neville. Goodnight.
To the Questions!!!!!
What has been the average game time temperature for all games played in Miami?
— Jim Heikkinen (@JimHeikkinen1) October 17, 2018
Hot. As for Sunday, man it’s a hot one. Like seven inches from the mid day sun. The forecast is saying that it’s going to be 87 degrees. That is hot. But at least it’s not 98 degrees. Playing in that weather would be the hardest thing they’ll ever have to do.
Lions record vs Dan Marino era Dolphins?
— Justin Strauss Jr (@jstrauss20) October 17, 2018
It’s not that bad. The Lions are 2-2 against the Dolphins when the guy from Ace Ventura was starting. Marino wasn’t very good against the Lions. He threw for four touchdowns and three interceptions in those four games. He only completed 58.5% of his passes. Finkle shouldn’t have taken all of the blame.
By the way, the Lions didn’t get to play against the Finkle team. They played the 1985 Dolphins. Missed it by just one year. Darn.
What is the Lions' record when @DetroitOnLion is in attendance, and will he be there this week?
— Pride of Detroit (@PrideOfDetroit) October 17, 2018
Oh I can answer that....
I'll take this one:
— Jeremy Reisman (@DetroitOnLion) October 17, 2018
1) 1-0
2) yes
Hey man. This is my gimmick. I’m the one that answers the questions around here. My boss is such a primadonna.
