Josh Allen is expected to miss at least 2-3 weeks because of his elbow injury, according to a report. Allen injured his elbow in the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday and was replaced by Nathan Peterman. Allen received a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews on his sprain, and NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero says Allen is now expected to miss 2-3 weeks. The Bills do not have their bye until Week 11, so they won’t get any relief there. That means any week Allen misses before Nov. 11 would cost him a game. The 2-4 Bills have Peterman and Derek Anderson behind Allen on the depth chart.
