This week has some decent matchups, but let’s be honest with ourselves. We can’t wait for next week where LSU and Bama face-off I will be prioritizing games with prospects that fit our primary needs. Those are as follows: Edge, T, G, RB, WR, and CB. I have taken off ILBer, and TE. Here are just a few games to check out, and who you should keep a keen scouting eye on throughout.
Clemson Vs. Florida State ( Sat 10/27, 12:00 PM EST, ABC)
Edge, Brian Burns, Florida State (#99)
Burns has a variety of pass rush moves, footwork, burst and length. Brian’s ceiling as an NFL edge rusher is through the roof.
Edge, Clelin Ferrell, Clemson (#93)
Ferrell is a disciplined, 3 down edge guy. Clelin combines his length, speed and technique to rein hell down on o-linemen.
Edge, Austin Bryant, Clemson (#7)
Austin Bryant looks the part of an elite edge rush, but then once the ball is snapped, he looks anything but. He needs to grow in every aspect of the position.
OT, Mitch Hyatt, Clemson (#75)
Physically Hyatt is an amazing tackle prospect. Technically, he is a nightmare. His raw skill will get him looks in the first 3 rounds, but he needs some coaching bad.
RB, Tavien Feaster, Clemson (#28)
Feaster is a North South runner that packs a punch. It’s hard to bring Tavien down behind the LOS.
RB, Jacques Patrick, Florida State (#9)
Patrick is a one cut, physical downhill runner. Patrick sees the field cleanly and knows how to work off his blocks.
CB, Trayvon Mullen, Clemson (#21)
Mullen has the size and speed to take advantage of the miss throws caused by the Clemson front 7. Now is his production his own, or should we give the credit to the before mentioned front 7.
CB, Levonta Taylor, Florida State (#28)
Levonta is a little undersized, but his movement skills are something special. Taylor has lightning quick footwork, fluid hips and the speed to remain in phase with opponents to any part of the field.

Florida Vs. Georgia (Sat 10/27, 3:30 PM EST, CBS)
Edge, Jachai Polite, Florida (#99)
Jachai Polite has been the edge rusher on everyone’s mind early in this 2018-19 season. He shows tremendous athleticism around the edge. Pair that with his never ending motor and you have a potential monster.
Edge, Jabari Zuniga, Florida (#92)
Zuniga has a way of showing up against inferior opponents. He will have the chance today to do it against a quality team.
Edge, D’Andre Walker, Georgia (#15)
Walker is a long physical specimen who has all the tools to be a great edge rusher. It would be nice to see him in a more expanded role.
T, Jawaan Taylor, Florida (#65)
Taylor has some great size that goes well with his frame. Jawaan’s hands are heavy in pass protection. He places his punches well, and can sit down against power. Taylor moves well, but isn’t overly explosive.
T, Martez Ivey, Florida (#73)
Ivey has all the physical tools you could want in a tackle, but there are too many times he looks like a chew toy for defenders.
RB, Elijah Holyfield, Georgia ( #13)
Holyfield is a very smooth runner. As soon as he gets the ball in his hands you can see the patience and vision at work. His smooth cuts make him hard to wrap up.
WR, Van Jefferson, Florida (#87)
Like many sons of coaches, Jefferson is a very smart and technically sound receiver. His route running is superb.
CB, Deandre Baker, Georgia (#18)
Baker is a bit of a conundrum. Is he a corner? Is he a safety? His lack of long speed and hip flexibility is troubling, but he makes up for it with technique and physicality.

Washington State Vs. Stanford (Sat 10/27, 7:00 PM EST, PAC 10 Network)
OT, A.T. Hall, Stanford (#75)
Hall is very smooth mover at tackle, and would look very good in our outside zone blocking scheme.
OT, Andre Dillard, Washington State (#60)
Dillard is very quick out of his stance, and is on defenders in a hurry. He moves well to get to where he needs to be. He lacks the base to hold up to good bull rushers.
WR, Arcega-Whiteside, Stanford (#19)
Whiteside shows some elite stuff out there at all levels of the field. His concentration and size regularly lead to some amazing catches.
RB, Bryce Love, Stanford (#20)
Love is one of the best running backs coming out this year. You will be hard-pressed to find a RB with Love’s speed that is as fluid and ellusive.
G, Brandon Fanaika, Stanford (#71)
Brandon is short and stocky and uses his hands to perfection to win and win early. He pulls well, and would also fit our scheme.
CB, Alijah Holder, Stanford (#13)
Alijah is a strong cover corner, who uses his physicality at the line to win. Might not be fast enough to hand with downfield weapons at the next level. Might be an option for safety.
