The Falcoholic staff and friends’ NFL picks for Week 8

Welcome to the least stressful week of the year.

The Falcons are on a bye this week, but we’re still picking a slate of NFL games. Atlanta is sitting at 3-4 with a week off to rest and recuperate, so here’s to a stress-free weekend of rooting against the Saints, Panthers, and Buccaneers.

I’ve been under the weather and did not get this up in time for Thursday’s game, but the Texans got a big win over the Dolphins. That starts me, Dave, Carter, and Cory off with a loss this week.

Aside from that game, we had very little variation — we were unanimous or nearly unanimous on every single game. Everyone but Dave has the Eagles beating the Jaguars on Sunday morning. The Eagles are winning as I type this, but there’s plenty of game left, so we’ll see.

James is the only one who’s going with the Panthers over the Ravens. We all think the Buccaneers will lose to the Bengals. Kyle and James are rolling with the Saints over the Vikings, and everyone thinks the Patriots get a pretty easy win over the Bills.
