The Arizona Cardinals brought back receiver Kendall Wright.
The Arizona Cardinals made two roster moves on Saturday, releasing Sam Bradford and placing offensive lineman John Wetzel on injured reserve, opening up two roster spots.
Today, they filled one of those spots with the re-signing of wide receiver Kendall Wright.
From the team:
Wright (5-10, 185) originally signed with the Cardinals on October 8 and was inactive for one game prior to being released on October 18. He is a six-year NFL veteran who has played in 82 games (45 starts) in his career and has 339 receptions for 3,858 yards (11.4 yard avg.) and 19 touchdowns.
Wright will wear jersey #12.
It is not a big move, but one that makes sense for an upcoming game when any signing this week will be a very unlikely contributor.
For the Cardinals, they need help along the offensive line, but again, with their roster moves not made until Saturday, having a new body in this week would not do much... for this week. Could we see an offensive lineman still? Probably.
Welcome back Kendall Wright, for however long you are back.
