Bears vs. Lions Injury Report: Khalil Mack and Allen Robinson will play

Here is the official injury report for the Bears and the Lions in advance of Sunday’s game.

The Chicago Bears are one of the healthiest teams in the NFL. Sure they have a few players on injured reserve — most notably starting right guard Kyle Long — but of the active 53-man roster, I don’t remember the Bears ever being this healthy at the midpoint of a season.

The last few years the Bears led the league in games lost due to injury, so it’s about time their luck turned. Besides the luck, the Bears revamped their entire strength and conditioning program, and that is obviously paying dividends.

Here’s the official Bears injury report for this week.

Dion Sims, TE (concussion) - Out

Bilal Nichols, DL (knee) - Limited

That’s it.

Khalil Mack and Allen Robinson II, who missed the last couple games, are both back after practicing in full all week. Ben Braunecker is back this week too.

Nichols was limited at today’s practice after practicing in full on Wednesday and Thursday.

Tight end Adam Shaheen, who hasn’t played all year, but has been practicing this week, has not been activated to the 53-man roster yet. The Bears still could decide to activate him for this Sunday, in which case they’ll need to cut a player to make room for him.

Here are the players the Detroit Lions have on their official injury list.

T.J. Lang, G (neck) - Out

Darius Slay, CB (knee) - Out

Eli Harold, LB (shoulder) - Doubtful

Ezekiel Ansah, DE (shoulder) - Questionable

Jalen Reeves-Maybin, LB (neck) - Questionable

Luke Willson, TE (shoulder) - Questionable

Kerryon Johnson, RB (ankle) - Questionable

Lang and Slay are both starters, so that could be a problem for Detroit.

And then there’s this in regards to Johnson.
