What’s the relationship between Gordon and Ekeler like? Hardly ever see them celebrate together or hang around one another.
— Hurricane Shane (@ShaneDePaoli) November 8, 2018
So this is a question I obviously cannot answer unless I’ve really spent a good amount of quality time with them both. I can only make assumptions, like the rest of you. But here is what I think: I believe they both are big fans of each other but it could very well be that they just aren’t close friends off the field and it isn’t a normal thing for them to gas each other up or be the first ones to congratulate each other. Based on social media (instagram, snapchat, etc.), Gordon spends a lot of his time with a former college teammate, Kenzel Doe, and not many other people.
I’m not sure how else to look at this than maybe they are just not that close. At least, I would hope that there isn’t any sort of schism between the two as they are both two of the best offensive players on this team. Maybe it has something to do with Gordon finally putting some distance between him and Ekeler for most productive running back on the time?
At the end of the day, it’s all speculation, however.
You participating in no shave November?
— JB (@Juan__0521) November 8, 2018
Not this year, unfortunately. If I do participate, I want to be able to start with a clean shave on the 1st but I didn’t plan ahead enough and it went by the wayside. I’ll have a decent beard as the weather gets cooler on a more consistent basis but it won’t be a true participation. Plus, my beard gets annoying and most of the time I can’t get it to work no matter how much trimming and man-scaping I put into it. Although I can grow one effortlessly, I’m not the biggest fan. I’m more of a “five o’clock shadow” kind of guy.
I can't tell if the chargers are good or if the AFC/ their schedule was soft. Convince me the chargers are good !

Well, for starters, the Chargers are 6-2 and, no matter who they have played, that’s a great record to have at the halfway point.
As most know, the team’s two losses have come at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are currently first in total yards (4,024), yards per game (447.1), and third in total points/points per game (299/33.2).
The Chiefs currently sit at the top of the list for points per game at 36.3. They are also second when it comes to total yards (3,901) and yards per game (433.4).
For a team’s only losses, you can’t get much better than that.
However, I believe the answer to you question is a little bit of both. A team can only play the teams on their schedule. Up to this point, the Bolts have beaten everyone that they should have although none of their victories have come against teams in the top half of the league in points per game. Seattle, the team they just recently beat, is 17th in the league at 23.7.
The Chargers are tied at 11th with Carolina Panthers at 27.5. However, if you were to eliminate all of Caleb Sturgis’ missed kicks this season, the team would shoot up to 5th with 29.7. Obviously we can’t just assume someone else would have been perfect on the year, but this shows you how much room for error there has been.
In the second half of the season, the schedule starts to heat up. In the month of Decemeber, alone, the Chargers will face the Steelers (9th in PPG), Bengals (10th), and Chiefs again. It will be quite the stretch to end the season but that will be what I believe makes or breaks this team. Come Christmas-time, we will know exactly who this team is.
If u could be transported into one of the current chargers players and live their life, who would u pick?

In terms of how much fun his life looks, I would say Melvin Gordon. He is apparently a giant nerd and overall looks like he has the right mindset towards life and the big picture. However, I would never want to switch lives with someone who is shorter than me and as I am currently 6-foot-3, I couldn’t bring myself to go through with that.
I would actually switch lives with Hunter Henry. I’d gain a few inches and he also just got married and I’m also about to take that plunge in two months myself. He seems to be a genuinely good dude and that’s all I really need. Being one of the best at his position in the National Football League would just be a plus.
If the playoffs started now and the Chargers had Bosa active, how far do you think the team could go? pic.twitter.com/sSOoa3riLn

Oh yes. Time for the good stuff.
The Texans would be a very tough draw out of the gate. By the end of the season, if the playoffs stayed the same, we would have already played three of the other five AFC playoff teams. If the team were to have won against PIT and CIN, then I would be more confident in playing one of those two. However, HOU would provide a hell of a match-up as both teams offer explosive offenses with multiple game-breakers on the defensive side of the ball.
Melvin Ingram and Jadeveon Clowney.
Tyrann Mathieu and Derwin James.
It would be so much fun to watch knowing that the game could have a plethora of outcomes. It could be high-scoring and end up a shootout or it could be a rather low-scoring affair as each team’s pass rush consistently finds a way to get home.
If I had to trust my gut on that playoff bracket, I would feel confident that the Chargers could find their way past the Texans but I couldn’t see them getting past the Chiefs or the Patriots. If I had a choice, I would actually choose to play New England over KC. Andy Reid has the Chargers’ number and anytime they have a chance to not play him, I would recommend it.
