Texans fans sound off with where and how they will be watching this weekend’s games.
In the past, I would spend the Texans’ bye week going out to West Texas or somewhere in central Texas with a tent, some beans, and some books to cleanse my cyber soul. This weekend, however, I will stay here in town.
My big girl dog chewed up a bottle of Advil. I’ll never have any money again. Please subscribe to the podcast. I’m starving. I’ll soon be evicted. I’m exhausted from the past three weeks of travel, work, illness, friends in town, writing, podding, and lack of sleep. So instead of wallowing around in the grey skies, under a shroud of rain and yellowed and red leaves, I’ll be here, getting strong, atching J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney Bash Brothers All-22, going for a walk, and waiting for the condensed games to pop off.
Anyways, those are my plans. What about you? What do you have going on? Do you have some books to read, records to digitally stream, movies to analyze, or shows to binge? Will you be escaping the drudgery of post-modern life and ignoring football entirely? Is there a spot you plan on hanging all Sunday to catch a full Sunday of Houstonless football? How excited are you for the AFC South cataclysmic, apocalyptic, written in the first tablets of man clash between the Jaguars and Colts?
Whatever your plans, let us know in the Comments. If you’re still trying to figure out what you’re going to do, or if you’ll be a stranger in a strange land looking for somewhere to catch the games, pose any queries here; someone might have a suggestion for you. Similarly, if you’ve got a worthy spot staked out somewhere and want to clue fellow Texans fans in to it, please divulge that information in the Comments as well.
