The Denver Broncos brought back offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio after placing guard Max Garcia on season-ending injured reserve.
The Denver Broncos have lost three offensive linemen for the year to various injuries, with Max Garcia’s torn ACL the latest blow received. The team moved Garcia to injured reserve and signed offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio to the active roster.
Kouandjio, 25, is a fifth-year player out of Alabama who has appeared in 28 games with the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos. The former second-round pick was released by the Bills after some odd behavior during the off-season in 2017. He was signed to the Broncos roster in 2017, appearing in three games last season. He competed in training camp in 2018, but was released prior to the start of the season.
He impressed during camp and the preseason, so having him back on the roster does help solve some depth problems the losses of Matt Paradis, Ronald Leary, and now Max Garcia have caused.
