The Panthers’ No. 1 receiver is considered day to day ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Seahawks.
The Panthers are back on the practice field ahead of their Week 12 matchup with the Seahawks. Joining them again today is veteran wide receiver Torrey Smith, who has missed the last four games with a knee injury. He looks ready to make his first appearance in a month, and the Panthers will likely need his services as current No. 1 receiver Devin Funchess is dealing with a back injury and is considered day to day.
Torrey Smith had a good day, said Rivera. Devin Funchess (back) is still day to day. Norv Turner said that the X could be played by committee if Funchess can’t go Sunday.

Some good news: everyone who sat out yesterday—other than Funchess—was on the practice field today.
Of the 8 guys who didn’t practice yesterday, only Devin Funchess (back) remains out. Will be interesting to see how they handle the X if he can’t play Sunday.
