Following a performance that saw LB Jatavis Brown flying all over the field, the third-year linebacker out of the University of Akron collected the highest grade by a Chargers player in week 10 with an 89.9.
His near-elite grade against the Oakland Raiders was good enough to land the speedy defender on Pro Football Focus’ week 10 Team of the Week along with the rest of the best defensive players from this past slate of games.
Another strong performance sees Joe Schobert land on the PFF Team of the Week.

Following the loss of Denzel Perryman early on in Sunday’s contest, Brown will be one of the first guys the team will turn to in terms of replacing the presence #52 brought to the defense. He finished with a team-leading 11 tackles after Perryman was sidelined and should see an uptick in production going forward.
Other players such as Hayes Pullard and Adrian Phillips will also be used in collaboration to make sure the defense doesn’t lose too much momentum as they head into the toughest part of their schedule.
