Week 11 saw the Saints blowout the defending champs, and now their biggest rivals come to town on Thanksgiving night! Let’s see what else Week 12 has on the table this Thanksgiving.
The New Orleans Saints face their biggest rival in the Atlanta Falcons on Thanksgiving night! What a scene it will be as the struggling Falcons face the NFL’s hottest team in an atmosphere that will be like no other in the Superdome. The Saints already have a win over these Falcons this season, and a win here will give them the season sweep over Atlanta, which would make us all feel extremely thankful.
There is so much to be thankful for from the Saints this season. The NFL’s best record at 9-1. The NFL’s most exciting offense (sorry LA and KC). A rapidly improving defense. A renewed swagger from the team and from Sean Payton, which has transferred to the fans in turn. That sense of hope, that sense of fun, that sense that the Saints may very well be on their way to the Super Bowl. All of this has Who Dat Nation feeling extremely thankful this Thanksgiving, and a holiday beatdown of the Falcons will really have us all giving thanks.
Let’s take a look at this and all of the NFL action in Week 12.
Last week I went 5-8 (ugh)
I told you so: Colts over Titans!
What do I know: Vikings over Bears?

WEEK 12
Thursday, November 22nd - Thanksgiving Day
Early Game - Appetizer
Bears(7-3) at Lions(4-6)
Chase Daniel will get the start at quarterback for Chicago in place of Mitchell Trubisky in this one. It will only be Daniel’s third start in his decade-long career. While this doesn't seem like a drastic loss for Chicago, it’s a significant loss considering how deceptively solid Trubisky has been this season. Trubisky’s absence will be worth a touchdown difference, and that will be the difference in this NFC North rivalry game. Detroit wins 28-23.
Pick: Lions

Late Game - First Course
Redskins(6-4) at Cowboys(5-5)
Dallas’ defense will key in on stopping Adrian Peterson, effectively taking away Washington’s only offensive weapon. On the other side Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will have big games, leading Dallas to victory over their NFC East rivals, pulling them into a tie for first place. Dallas wins 30-17.
Pick: Cowboys

Primetime Game - Main Course & Dessert
Falcons(4-6) at Saints(9-1)
The first time these two bitter rivals met this season, it was a wild, and memorable shootout in Atlanta, that took overtime to ultimately settle. This time, things will come much easier for the Saints, but with the same result, a Saints victory. Unlike that Week 3 meeting, the Saints have Mark Ingram in the backfield ready to grind down and punish the Falcons defense on the ground. The other stars will shine for the Saints, none brighter than Drew Brees though, who is having one of the greatest seasons imaginable, and this game will be another milestone in his historic 2018 campaign.
The Saints offense will thoroughly dominate Atlanta, which will come as no surprise, but it will be the defense that will really stand out in this game. Look for monster games from both Cameron Jordan and Sheldon Rankins who will punish and harass Matt Ryan the entire night. Jordan will come through with a 3 sack night, while Rankins gets a pair himself. In fact, Marshon Lattimore may even decide to use his hands to intercept Ryan this time around. The offense will get theirs as usual, but this Saints defense will feast this Thanksgiving.
Break out the brooms, Saints fans. The Saints will sweep Atlanta in grand fashion in this one. On the stage the Saints love most, the national stage, in primetime, under the lights of the Superdome, against the team the Saints love to smash the most. The Saints will roll on this grand holiday. Saints win 45-20.
Pick: Saints

Sunday, November 25th - Early Games
Browns(3-6-1) at Bengals(5-5)
Defense need not apply in this matchup of two of the worst defenses in the league. A returning A.J. Green may be the biggest factor in a Cincy win at home. Cincinnati wins 30-12.
Pick: Bengals
***
49ers(2-8) at Buccaneers(3-7)
San Francisco just isn't built to keep up against Tampa’s passing game. Tampa will push the ball downfield with their receiving corps, securing a home victory. Tampa wins 33-17.
Pick: Buccaneers
***
Jaguars(3-7) at Bills(3-7)
Jacksonville, reeling and spiraling into the void, will squeak out a road win in a tough, defensive affair in Buffalo. Jacksonville wins 21-20.
Pick: Jaguars
***
Raiders(2-8) at Ravens(5-5)
Fresh off a win, believe it or not, Oakland will play surprisingly well against the tough Baltimore defense. They’ll still lose in Baltimore though. Baltimore wins 30-27.
Pick: Ravens
***
Seahawks(5-5) at Panthers(6-4)
These two teams are pretty evenly matched and should have one of the better games of the week. Cam Newton will luck into a late game-winning touchdown at home, in the end. Carolina wins 28-21.
Pick: Panthers
***
Patriots(7-3) at Jets(3-7)
Sam Darnold and the Jets just won't be able to muster enough offense to hang with the Pats in this one. New England wins 25-12.
Pick: Patriots
***
Giants(3-7) at Eagles(4-6)
Now that the Eagles are facing an opponent in their own weight class, they have a shot at not getting themselves outclassed. Carson Wentz will have a nice game after being embarrassed a week ago. Philadelphia wins 31-21.
Pick: Eagles
***
Sunday, November 25th - Late Games
Cardinals(2-8) at Chargers(7-3)
After a shocking home loss last week, the Bolts will rebound against Arizona’s offensive offense. Los Angeles wins 23-16.
Pick: Chargers
***
Dolphins(5-5) at Colts(5-5)
Indy is riding a hot streak, and it will continue at home against Miami. Indianapolis wins 20-19.
Pick: Colts
***
Steelers(7-2-1) at Broncos(4-6)
Pittsburgh is one of the AFC’s hottest teams, and they’ll continue to rise in the Mile High city against Denver. Pittsburgh wins 27-23.
Pick: Steelers

Sunday Night Football
Packers(4-5-1) at Vikings(5-4-1) - Game of the Week
Both of these teams are looking to keep pace with Chicago in the NFC North race. Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins will put on an aerial show in this one. This game will come down to a big Green Bay field goal as time expires, pulling them even with Minnesota in the standings. Green Bay wins 31-28.
Pick: Packers
***
Monday, November 26th - Monday Night Football
Titans(5-5) at Texans(7-3)
Houston is riding the AFC’s hottest streak right now, having won seven in a row. They’ll keep the streak going with a big home win over their AFC South rivals from Tennessee. Houston wins 29-19.
Pick: Texans

That’s how I see Week 12 going down. The Saints can push their winning streak to ten while demoralizing the rival Falcons, which will make this season that we’re all grateful for even better! Leave us your picks, comments, and insight below!
