The Panthers switched their practice schedule around to accommodate the weather, so today’s injury report is identical to yesterday’s.
The Panthers did not practice today due to the weather (they switched today’s practice with tomorrow’s walkthrough on their schedule), so today’s injury report is a literal carbon copy of the one we received yesterday.
Rivera: “Today was going to be our typical Friday practice (situational football script). But we flipped it with the field conditions, so tomorrow we’ll have our typical Friday practice.”

We’ll know more tomorrow about the status of players like wide receiver Torrey Smith, who didn’t practice yesterday but worked out on the side with the training staff. He’s currently expected to be ready for Sunday’s game against Detroit.

Ron Rivera did say that if the Panthers would have been able to practice, Cam Newton would have been a participant, so we can expect him to practice tomorrow instead.
Rivera confirms that Cam Newton would have been able to throw today if the team practiced, which means he’ll throw tomorrow.
