California is currently dealing with three different wildfires across the state, and folks could use a lot of help. I know people who live in Paradise and whose home is currently in danger of being destroyed. No doubt there are a lot of us who know someone who could use the help. And even if we don’t, we can all relate.
“I just hope the fires go away,” Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said Friday. “I’m more concerned about a lot of people that are impacted by this. . . Just hope this ends fast.”
49ers assistant coach Shane Wallen saw his family home in Paradise destroyed in the fire. In response, 49ers players have been rallying to help Shane, and you can contribute to a GoFundMe he created for Paradise.
There is also the evacuation relief fund for the North Valley. If you’ve got a few bucks to spare, those are both worthwhile options.
