Week 10 PFF insights: O’Shaughnessy was a star

Pro Football Focus is charting everything when it comes to the 2018 NFL regular season and that includes the Week 10 matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts.

So who was the cream of the crop and who did poorly on Sunday morning? Let’s check it out!

Offense

  • Sunday marked the return of Leonard Fournette for the Jaguars, and surprisingly, his biggest impact was actually as a receiver. His receiving grade of 89.5 was the third highest by a running back in Week 10 as he was targeted five times and generated a 152.9 passer rating when targeted.
  • The highest graded player on offense for the Jaguars was tight end James O’Shaughnessy who earned an overall grade of 89.9. This was the third highest grade by a tight end this week as he dominated in the run game with a 83.5 run block grade the highest by a tight end, he also caught all five of his targets in the passing game.

Defense

  • On defense it was Calais Campbell who was the highest graded player for the Jaguars. His 83.1 overall grade was the eighth best by an edge defender in Week 10, and his 92.1 run defense grade ranked first. On his 20 run defense snaps Campbell had five stops and a run stop percentage of 25% both ranked first among edge defenders this week.
  • The defense struggled to get pressure on Andrew Luck as he was only pressured on seven of his 29 dropbacks, the sixth lowest rate among quarterbacks this week. The defense was only able to get seven total pressures the whole game which is their lowest total amount of pressure in a game this season.
