6 bold predictions for Jaguars vs. Colts

The Jacksonville Jaguars (3-8) are hosting the Indianapolis Colts (6-5) in a game that could clinch a losing season for the team in only Week 13!

Yay football! Happy Sunday!

Before the game begins, we wanted to ask the Big Cat Country team (and you!) a simple question:

“How will the Jaguars do against the Bills today?”

Alfie Crow (@AlfieBCC)

The Jaguars will cover the 5.5-point spread but they’ll lose.

Colts win 20-17

Andrew Luck is going to have a field day against the Jaguars secondary at TIAA Bank Field — Jalen Ramsey or not.

Colts win 31-20

Jon Kurland (@BCBCouch)

It’s gonna be a bloodbath.

Colts win 27-13

Cody Kessler is starting. Leonard Fournette is suspended. There is a new play-caller in Scott Milanovich. The offensive line is depleted. Jalen Ramsey is playing hurt. What the hell happened to this team? Oddly enough, I think the Jaguars come out fired up and keep it competitive for a while. Colts break away in the fourth quarter, though.

What do you want from me????!!!!

As of this writing Gipson and Ramsey are questionable, trending to doubtful. Fournette is suspended. Kessler starts his first game of the season, sharing that he’s seen limited snaps in practice most of the season. Why on earth should we think the Jaguars are going to 1) stop Andrew Luck for four quarters, and 2) score enough with Kessler at the helm?

I watched Dallas beat New Orleans on Thursday.

My bold prediction is the Jaguars have two 100 yard receivers.

Jaguars win 23-17

Filip Prus (@JaxonFil)

If the game is close in the fourth quarter, the Jaguars will likely lose. It’s business as usual. As bad as the Colts were in letting games slip away in the fourth quarter in 2017, they are second in the NFL under Frank Reich with a +36 point differential.

Anything could happen with a new quarterback under center, but not having the entire left side of the offensive line and offensive foundation piece Leonard Fournette this week makes this an almost impossible task for Cody Kessler and Scott Milanovich.

Colts win 28-14
