The NFL has named New York Giants kicker Aldrick Rosas the NFC Special Teams Player of The Week.

The honor is much deserved for the Giants’ young kicker, who was perfect on his three field goals and extra points (hardly a “gimmie” any more). But the cherry on top was resetting a personal record for distance with a 57-yard field goal at the end of the first half. That kick shattered his previous best of 53 yards.
Rosas was also responsible for kicking the game-winning field goal in overtime to secure the Giants’ fourth win of the season.
2018 has been an incredible reversal for Rosas, who was anything but reliable for the Giants. A year ago, the (then) 22-year-old completed 18-of-25 field goals (72 percent), and 20-of-23 extra points. This year he has made 26-of-27 field goals (96.3 percent) and 21-of-21 extra points. Between Rosas’ reliability and impressive leg strength, he has become a weapon for the Giants, and is beginning to get some Pro Bowl buzz.
Listen to @RileyTDixon92 and send #AldrickRosas to the Pro Bowl!
