The Jacksonville Jaguars have a short week ahead of them as they now turn their attention to a Thursday Night Football matchup in just three days against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.
With a win yesterday and such a short lead time before their next game, it wouldn’t make much sense for the Jaguars to make a quarterback change — but head coach Doug Marrone confirmed as much in his postgame comments yesterday.
When asked if Kessler would be the starter next week, Marrone was as direct as he could be.
“Yes.”
And there you have it, another Kessler start. I would be shocked if the result was the same in Nashville as it was yesterday in Jacksonville — short week, on the road, banged up on both sides of the ball. It could get ugly.
Or we could ruin the playoff chances of an AFC South team two weeks in a row.
