The Colts’ starting inside linebacker Anthony Walker (shoulder) returned to practice on Wednesday, his first action since missing all of last week. The second-leading tackler on the team, who was limited and wore a red, no-contact jersey at practice, also has 10 tackles for loss and a sack.
Linebacker Matthew Adams (groin), tight end Eric Ebron (concussion/knee), safety Clayton Geathers (knee), tight end Ryan Hewitt (foot), wide receivers T.Y. Hilton (ankle) and Dontrelle Inman (shoulder), center Ryan Kelly (neck) and cornerback Quincy Wilson (calf) were the eight Colts to miss practice on Wednesday.
Wilson, Kelly, Inman, Hilton, Hewitt, Ebron and Adams all played on Sunday in Indy’s win over the Giants, while Geathers was out. Wilson, Kelly and Ebron were all injured in the game, and only Wilson returned to the field.
Rookie wide out Daurice Fountain was limited with an ankle injury, safety Malik Hooker (hip), wide receiver Zach Pascal (knee) and defensive end Jabaal Sheard (teeth) were limited with Fountain and Pascal.
