New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson will be a little lighter in the wallet thanks to some rather unfortunate actions in last week's game. After review from the NFL offices, Patterson was hit with a pretty significant fine of over $13,000 by the NFL for grabbing the crotch of Jets defensive lineman Henry Anderson during Sunday's game. Patterson got a little bit handsy while caught in a pile after being tackled. His method of freeing himself was certainly successful in the moment, but it certainly hit him hard in the paycheck. Maybe he'll have learned his lesson.
